2. Overview

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website is informational. It uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking, and no advertising, and there is no registration or contact form. The only personal data processed are your server access data (see 3) and the technically necessary transmission of your IP address when third-party map tiles or the embedded calendar are loaded (see 5 and 6).

3. Server log files & hosting

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This may include: IP address, date and time of the request, the page/file requested, the referring URL, and browser/operating-system information. This data is not merged with other data sources and is used only to ensure a functional, secure and stable service.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the website). The site is operated on a hosting provider that processes this log data on our behalf as a processor under a data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

4. Fonts

All fonts are hosted on our own server (self-hosted). No connection to Google Fonts or any external font provider is established, and no data is transmitted to third parties for the display of fonts.

5. Map (OpenStreetMap)

On the “Associations” page we display an interactive map of the member clubs using OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, map tiles are retrieved from servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. In doing so your IP address is transmitted to OSMF; this is technically necessary to deliver the map imagery.

6. Calendar embed (kalender.digital)

On the “Events & News” page we embed an events calendar provided by kalender.digital via an inline frame (iframe). When the calendar loads, a connection to the servers of kalender.digital is established and your IP address is transmitted there. The frame is loaded lazily (only when it comes into view) and with a no-referrer policy to minimise the data transmitted.

7. External links & social media

Our site links to external services (e.g. Facebook, YouTube and the member clubs’ own pages). We do not embed social-media content or “like” buttons — these are ordinary links. Only when you actively click a link do you leave our site, and the privacy policy of the respective provider then applies. We have no influence over their data processing.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access to your personal data (Art. 15);
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
• erasure (Art. 17);
• restriction of processing (Art. 18);
• data portability (Art. 20);
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21); and
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to the website or to legal requirements. The current version always applies.
